We're after a reliable Truck Driver to join the team at Acon Industries.

If you're the sort of driver who turns up on time, looks after the truck, helps the crew and gets the job done without drama, we'd like to hear from you.

This role involves working across asphalt and chipseal projects throughout the Bay of Plenty, transporting materials, equipment and supporting our surfacing crews on site.

What's the job?

• You'll be transporting materials, equipment and supporting our asphalt and chipseal crews across the region.

• Some days you'll be carting gear between sites.

• Some days you'll be helping load and unload machinery.

• Some days you'll be working alongside the crew helping keep the job moving.

• We don't believe in "that's not my job" around here.

• Everyone pitches in when needed.

• Competitive hourly rate based on experience and licences.

• Time and a half for all hours physically worked over 40 each week.

• Additional 15% payment for night shift hours worked.

What we're looking for

• Current NZ Class 4 or Class 5 licence.

• A good attitude.

• Reliable attendance.

• Safe driving habits.

• Ability to work as part of a crew.

• Willingness to work day or night shift when required.

Bonus points if you've got:

• Asphalt or chipseal experience.

• Civil construction experience.

• WTR endorsements.

• ConstructSafe or Site Safe.

• First Aid Certificate.

• Experience transporting machinery or heavy equipment
