Base ConstructionWhile most of the commercial projects we work on already have the base construction completed before we start, for smaller and general surfacing projects we build the base ourselves.
Base construction involves excavation work, some surveying and occasionally design. Where necessary, we will bring in expert advisors for more complex projects. |
Paver Laid BaseAn alternative to the traditional base construction method is the use of an asphalt paver to lay the base. While a paver laid base is not always possible or advisable, for straight forward projects we will always recommend this method as it is more efficient and economical.
The use of a paver laid base allows us to move onto the asphalt or chip seal surfacing more quickly. |
